What is the streaming and how does it work ?

The purpose of streaming is broadcast an audio source through the Internet to the listeners.
Server software (Shoutcast in our case) will convert your audio source into an audio stream capable of traveling on the internet network.
Streaming is a big consumer of bandwidth, and in the best case with a connection you can rarely exceed 6-8 listeners at the same time.
The idea is to send your stream to a server Relay with a large Internet connection (100mb / s in our case) which rebroadcast to a maximum of listeners..

How streaming my audio source?

You will need a software capable of encoding a stream Shoutcast audio format.

Many solutions are available:
